Our train to Toyo was in the afternoon. Therefore, we had portion of free time in the morning. We went to Fushimi Inari Shrine,伏見稲荷大社. It is the most famous of several thousands of shrines dedicated to Inari across Japan. Inari is the Shinto god of rice, and foxes are thought to be his messengers. Therefore, many fox statues can be found at Inari shrines.

After that, we took bullet train at 12.56pm and reached in Tokyo around 3.40pm. The whole journey spends more than three hours. Once we reached there, we need to take another train to our living place, Ikebukuro,池袋. If this name read in Chinese, sounds like quite weird and let people has some bad "imagination". When we reached there, we just wondered that the people in charge of this hotel had made some mistake on room arrangement. Fortunately, they arrange one single room and double room for us. Of course, Teresa and I stayed under same room. BUt...we had to move to the place we suppose to stay on the following days. After taking dinner, we have a walk in famous shopping street, Shinjuku,新宿区.
Our room.

Tokyo night life.

It is also famous for the countless torii gates.
